In the second half of 18th century, the industrial revolution arrives in Gragnano with the production of "maccheroni". Here there are the right condition to dry the pasta near by the pastifici.
The 19th century was characterized by many records as the 100 factories that produced long pasta, the exports around the world favored by the first Italian railway.

Pastificio D'Aniello is in Gragnano in Via Roma, 23 inside the historical pastificio ALFONSO GAROFALO, now industrial archeology.
The choise of an historical place in not random but reflect the Pastificio D'Aniello philosopy to preserve in the technological age the handemade methods, the attention from the detail and raw material to quality check.
